Institutional IT Consulting

What We Offer

Technology is constantly changing. Therefore, our schools, businesses, governments and other institutions need to stay abreast on the changes, improvements and developments taking place. That is where Cyber Safety Consulting comes in. We offer consulting services for institutions interested in learning about today’s technology options and specifically how they can implement strategies that have the safety of children as a priority. There are a variety of applicable solutions to encourage safe operation of the Internet and related technologies among children.

Who do we work with?

  • Schools

With more and more schools implementing “one to one” programs – where each student is issued a technology device such as a tablet or laptop – there is greater need for the proper safety parameters to be implemented on these devices as well as proper education on the responsibility of students working with these devices. We work with school IT professionals to discuss the proper settings for these devices and how they can teach both students and educators on the appropriate use of these devices.

  • Parent Organizations

We realize that parent organizations are often asking questions of how our children can be safer at school. Therefore, we are happy to work with parent organizations who wish to be aware of both the dangers that come with technology, as well as the benefits and how our children can use technology most effectively.

  • Law Enforcement System

With the multitude of illicit activities occurring on the Internet today, it is imperative that those in the law enforcement system – including judges, lawyers, police officers, and others – stay abreast on the various methods of Internet activity. We work with individuals, companies and institutions to inform them about developments in social media, mobile applications, cyberbullying and more.

  • Elected Officials & Committees

Our elected officials – whether local, state or federal – are responsible for the development of policy that reflects the technological culture we find ourselves in today. Therefore, it is necessary for these people to be knowledgeable of how technology impacts our children, both positively and negatively, and to create policy that advocates for the safety of our children. We help increase their knowledge about Internet activity in our modern day society and how policy can be supportive of safety.
